We listen to seniors, families and communities to understand the barriers they are facing and what support is actually needed.
Advancing aging at home, one home at a time.
Happy Homes Community Solutions exists to remove the barriers that prevent older adults from aging safely, independently and with dignity in the homes they already have.
We prioritize Black, Racialized, low-income and historically underserved seniors, while building solutions that strengthen aging at home for all older adults facing barriers.
We support aging at home from the community level right through to practical support inside the home.
We listen to seniors, families and communities to understand the barriers they are facing and what support is actually needed.
We make aging at home easier to understand through practical workshops on safety, accessibility, planning ahead and available supports.
We help seniors identify what may need to change and prepare for evolving mobility, routines and accessibility needs.
Where appropriate, we support cost-effective, non-structural home improvements that can make everyday living safer and easier.
From understanding the need to making practical changes at home, Happy Homes is advancing aging at home, one home at a time.

Home is where familiarity, independence, memory and daily life come together. For many older adults, being able to remain at home is deeply connected to dignity, choice and a sense of control over how they age.
But aging at home is not always simple. Changes in mobility, accessibility, finances, health, transportation or available support can gradually make everyday life more difficult. For seniors already navigating barriers related to income, disability, race, isolation or limited access to services, those challenges can become even more complex.
Too often, planning begins only after something happens: a fall, a hospitalization, a change in mobility, or a moment when the home no longer feels as manageable as it once did.
Aging at home should not begin with a crisis. It should begin with choice, preparation and the right support.
